The Grand Designs Mural

Here are images of my latest project that I have been completing over the winter months....
It is an absolutely stunning home built for the television show Grand Designs Channel 4 which is being shown on the 2nd of May.
It is built in the Fens near Ely.
The building is made almost entirely from environmentally friendly materials.
My brief was to create a colourful and stimulating space for Acer the lucky boy whose room it is.
Acer is the biggest fan of dinosaurs you will ever meet and so we tried to create a space which he could imagine dinosaurs roaming though.
This Mural is painted on the three major walls and the ceiling of Acers large bedroom. At night time the murals come alive when the ultra violet lighting is turned on. You can see this effect on some of the close up images in the Gallery here. When you move the cursor over the images the photos change to the ultra violet image. Enjoy
